By taking Homebuying 101, you’ll have access to first-time homebuyer loans with low interest rates and low down payment requirements. The certificate you receive from completing the course is also required for down payment or closing cost assistance programs that may be offered in the city or town in which you are buying.
This class is for anyone who is interested in buying their first home, whether you are already in the midst of the process or just starting to think about homeownership.
** This class is sponsored by the Allston Brighton Homeowner Fund, and is offered first and foremost for current residents of Allston and Brighton, although any resident of Massachusetts is welcome to register. As such, the Allston Brighton Homeownership Program will be covered in more depth in addition to the standard Homebuying 101 curriculum. **
