On Solid Ground

The On Solid Ground Coalition (OSG), led by the Executive Committee made up of the Center for Social Policy, CHAPA, and Homes for Families, is a cross-sector group of 40+ partners committed to a research-based, family-centered approach to ensuring access to housing stability and economic mobility for families living in Massachusetts.

The Coalition’s vision is for Massachusetts families to have safe, stable homes in communities of their choice and opportunities for economic mobility and wellness. Through its four-prong approach the Coalition advocates for:

CREATING A PATH TO HOUSING STABILITY AND ECONOMIC MOBILITY

Increasing stability and reducing family homelessness requires a four-pronged approach:

  • Advancement of system coordination and efficiency
  • Increasing resources and opportunities for affordable housing
  • Improved access to support services for families
  • The tracking and reporting of progress to measure social impact

On Solid Ground Coalition in January 2020 merged with CHAPA's Housing Stability & Economic Mobility Committee.
