Multidisciplinary Planning and Community Development consulting firm seeks talented individual for full-time position. Community Opportunities Group, Inc. has been providing consulting services to municipalities, non-profit organizations and private firms throughout New England for more than 35 years. We are seeking to fill a mid-level position with an experienced community development professional. We are also willing to train an entry-level professional with the appropriate educational background.
CDBG Managers with Community Opportunities Group, Inc. can expect to work out of the firm’s Boston office. PMs are on the road an average of 2 to 3 days per week for travel to client sites within MA and CT; a vehicle is necessary. All PMs are in the Boston office on Fridays whenever possible. Some PMs have sole responsibility for serving a client community while other PMs will work in tandem with other staff to meet a community’s needs.
Program Manager responsibilities include grant writing, responsibility for the administration of grant funded community development initiatives, supervision of local administrative staff, training of local professional staff, financial management of grant funds, managing public facility construction projects, supervising multi-site housing rehabilitation projects and monitoring projects for compliance with state and federal regulations.
