We employ individuals with a strong commitment to excellence, a collaborative nature and the desire to make a difference. Way Finders currently has an exciting opportunity for a Budget & Contracts ClerkThe Budget & Contracts Clerk will be responsible for providing administrative and accounting support to the VP of Budget & Compliance and the Way Finders Fiscal Department.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Maintains financial reporting schedule for all grants and contracts
  • Assists in the annual budgeting and planning process
  • Manages contract approval process
  • Prepares Grant/Contract Transmittal Forms for all grants and contracts
  • Assists in the set-up of Postage, Copier and other systems for new grants and contracts
  • Maintains Grant/Contract listing
  • Performs month-end invoicing and reconciliations
  • Prepare reports, documents, and correspondence as needed
  • Assists the VP, Budget & Compliance in accomplishing departmental goals
  • Establishes and maintains strong, collaborative relationships with internal staff and other departments to achieve goals
  • Inputs financial transactions into loan database
  • Provides support for routine Common Capital reporting
  • Performs other tasks as needed

Requirements Include:

  • Associates degree or equivalent experience preferred; Bachelors degree a plus
  • 3-4 years of experience in accounting or related field 
  • Attention to detail
  • Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Teams, Outlook, Excel and others as required.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Excellent communications skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and meet tight deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Working knowledge of automated accounting systems, database management and administration and the ability to generate general reports

Wage between $17.83 – $24.95
