Results of the 5th Congressional District Candidate Questionnaire on Housing Are Now Posted - October 2, 2013

CHAPA recently sent a brief questionnaire to all ten candidates for Congress for District 5 in Massachusetts.  A special election for Massachusetts's 5th congressional district will take place on December 10, 2013, due to the resignation of Congressman Ed Markey following his election to the United States Senate.  Primary elections are scheduled for October 15.

The questionnaire asked candidates to answer questions regarding HUD funding and the LIHTC (Housing Credit) and to explain their plan to help workers afford to live and raise their families in District 5 and support low and moderate income people, elders, and people with disabilities who need assistance.
