Massachusetts Receives Over $78 Million in Federal Funding Towards Homelessness

As the lights turned on at HUD after the longest government shutdown in U.S. history, the department renewed funding for thousands of local homelessness programs, including over $78 million directed at Massachusetts that will be disbursed to 196 local organizations. Here is a complete list of Massachusetts grants.

The grants will be disbursed to Continuum of Care agencies that are on the front lines of serving households experiencing homelessness.  Some of the organizations funded through the program include: Bay Cove, Bridge Over Troubled Waters, New England Center and Home for Veterans, Pine Street Inn and St. Francis House.
