FHLB Accepting Nominations for 2014 Advisory Council - July 25, 2013

NOMINATIONS FOR 2014 ADVISORY COUNCIL  
The Federal Home Loan Bank of Boston (FHLB) is now accepting nominations to fill three vacancies on its 2014 Advisory Council.  The vacant seats are for individuals actively involved in providing or promoting community lending in Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Vermont, respectively. 

By regulation the Bank is required to maintain an Advisory Council drawn from community and nonprofit organizations actively involved in providing or promoting low- and moderate-income housing in New England. According to the Bank's 2013 Affordable Housing Program Implementation Plan, Advisory Council members are appointed for staggered three-year terms. The Council is comprised of at least two representatives from each of the six states along with at least two rotating seats that are filled from among one of the six executive directors of the state housing finance agencies or one of the six state departments of housing and/or community development.
