CHAPA's Joint Committee Meeting: Affordable Housing Tour on June 15th, 9:30 - 11:30 am

Starting from Metro Housing Boston (1411 Tremont St, Boston, MA 02120)

CHAPA is facilitating an Affordable Housing Walking Tour in Roxbury on June 15th starting from Metro Housing Boston (1411 Tremont St, Boston, MA 02120) at 9:30 am. The tour is in lieu of a special combined meeting of all three CHAPA committees focused on Homelessness Prevention, Production and Preservation of Affordable Housing and Public Housing and Rental Assistance. As part of the tour, we will bring together the work of all three committees to learn about how the policies and programs we support are put into practice to create affordable housing.

The walking tour will commence at 9:30 am from Metro Housing Boston (1411 Tremont St, Boston, MA 02120) and will end at Madison Park Village (122 Dewitt Drive, Roxbury, MA) at 11:30 am. We shall have brief overview of the funding resources and challenges for the developments on the tour. Light refreshments will be served before the tour from 9:00 - 9:30 am at Metro Housing Boston.

The tour involves 15-20 min walking. Please let us know if you have any walking constraints for alternate arrangements. The space for the tour group is limited. Pleae register soon or let us know if you have registered but do not plan to attend.
