“A New Lease” Film Premier and “Diversity and Affordable Housing in Brookline” Panel Discussion

On April 12th, there will be a premiere film screening and panel discussion about affordable housing and diversity in Brookline on Thursday April 12 at 7:00 pm at the Coolidge Corner Theatre.

A New Lease, a short film by Brookline resident Aynsley Floyd, profiles three families who live in Brookline’s new affordable housing property at 86 Dummer Street completed in 2015. 86 Dummer is the largest permanently affordable housing property built in Brookline in more than 35 years. The families describe their reasons for pursuing residence in Brookline and how their lives have changed.

Following the film screening, the sponsoring organizations will host a panel discussion moderated by David Trietsch, Board Chair of the Brookline Housing Authority.
