Job Description

Reports to Director of Rental Management.  Implements policies and procedures to ensure consistent and efficient operation of Rental Management Division.  Ensures clear business processes that facilitate resourceful and accountable operations, as well as effective risk management and compliance monitoring practices.  Actively engages in strategic planning, goal-setting, managing to budget and goals and providing high quality reporting and other tools needed to support the Division’s managers.  Oversees development and maintenance of comprehensive rental lifecycle system.  Leads training, team building and professional development support necessary to build and maintain a high performing Rental Management Division.


Bachelor’s degree in Business, Real Estate, Public Administration or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.  At least 10-15 years of increasingly responsible experience in property management, compliance, asset management and/or operations. Demonstrated ability to negotiate complex issues within tight timeframes, design and implement well-designed, accountable programs and systems, establish and maintain internal controls, and allocate resources to meet work timelines. Subject matter expertise regarding affordable housing, property management, asset management, compliance monitoring, subsidy administration and/or related areas is preferred. Demonstrated previous experience in managing, motivating, and evaluating significant numbers of staff working on a variety of topics under tight deadlines.  Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
