Job Description

WinnCompanies is looking for a dynamic Operations Manager to join our Connected Communities (Resident Services) corporate team. In this role you will help drive the ongoing implementation and sustainability of Winn’s Connected Communities’ initiative through work with WinnResidential and WinnDevelopment for new business development, relationship management, and community outreach. As a central member of the team you will provide support, technical assistance, and quality assurance. Your diverse responsibilities will span the development, implementation and sustainability of community-based service plans, partnership development and expansion, service plan development, outcomes tracking, and reporting. You will also be instrumental in developing and maintaining WinnCompanies new web-based platform, CONNECT, which allows our teams to identify and refer residents to high quality programs and services throughout 22 states and D.C.

Essential Functions 

  • Develop and maintain portfolio-wide quality assurance assessments and grading to provide regular touchpoints and review of CONNECT reporting, progress updates at each community, and course correction where necessary to support Regional Managers, Senior Community Coordinators, and Community Coordinators in achieving community goals
  • Review, manage, report and analyze community-level data in CONNECT system
  • Ensure accuracy and consistency of established data collected through annual resident questionnaires, resident touchpoints, community programs and activities and through partner reporting
  • Lead project management and strategic direction, annual assessment and operational support to key programs administered through or with Connected Communities
  • Assist in the creation and implementation of annual department and regional training opportunities for community teams across the portfolio to support the success of community service plans
  • Lead and support managers and directors in developing and improving operations to create optimal performance levels
  • Serve as a liaison between WinnCompanies and external stakeholders (community leaders, partner organizations and residents) to advance community relationships, public affairs, organizational PR and new business development objectives  
  • Work with VP, Connected Communities in special project development and management (large-scale community projects, strategic direction, etc.)

Job Requirements  

  • Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Business, or Public Policy 
  • 3-5 years related work experience
  • 1-3 years supervisory experience
  • Proven track record of successful project management including strategic development, implementation, budgeting, reporting and supporting various stakeholders simultaneously     
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills    
  • Excellent analytical skills  
  • Strong systems knowledge and skills (Yardi, RealPage, outcomes-tracking platforms, Excel, etc.)
