This is an AmeriCorps position and as such, the member may not engage in prohibited activities as part of
his/her/their service. The member will have an immediate supervisor at The Neighborhood Developers and a
LISC point of contact throughout the term of service for coaching, mentoring, and training support in order to
undertake activities to achieve a community goal.
The member is expected to undertake the following activities toward goal achievement:

Recruit and manage volunteers to assist with placekeeping community events, including the Shirley Ave
Cultural Festival, Republic Services’ National Neighborhood Promise Day, and Sandler Square
revitalization and night markets.

Assist with planning and execution of board leadership boot camps.

Assist with recruitment, volunteer management and execution of resident satisfaction survey, targeting ~500
respondents.

Act as a point of contact for volunteers
