Housing Mobility Manager

We are seeking a Housing Mobility Manager who will be responsible for the successful administration of the SNO-Mass program to help families with mobile vouchers access housing in areas of opportunity. Responsibilities include Motivational Counseling, Leading/Delivering workshops and trainings to address housing barriers, Landlord Support and Recruitment, Internal Coordination of Leasing and Inspection Staff.  Responsibilities include: create and oversee procedures that ensure the program work is completed efficiently, effectively and thoroughly; ensure program compliance with funding sources policies, regulations, goals and objectives; manage and monitor program data and complete monthly reports; supervise Housing Mobility Counselor: provide regular supervision and annual performance evaluations; conduct staff meetings and provide technical assistance of daily work activities; and provide motivational counseling to participants who are interested in using their voucher in high- opportunity communities.

 

Qualifications:

  • 4 year degree in social work, public policy or other related fields required, Masters in Social Work or related field strongly preferred.
  • 3 years’ experience in social services, case management required, with additional experience in real estate, subsidized housing programs, and fair housing preferred.
  • Counseling and assessment skills.
  • Familiarity with the region (e.g. transportation, school systems, amenities, services).
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in PC based computer software.
  • Support for the SNO-Mass program’s mission and goals.
  • Knowledge and experience working with low income, culturally diverse, and at-risk families and individuals.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of community resources available to low-income individuals and families.
  • Excellent customer service, organizational, oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient computer skills required in basic computer software and data collection systems.
  • Excellent crisis management skills.
  • Ability to maintain accurate records and confidentiality of information.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish, English/Khmer, English/Portuguese) preferred.
  • Valid Massachusetts drivers’ license.
