The Federal Reserve Bank of Boston is encouraging borrowers who were financially harmed in the mortgage foreclosure process in 2009 and 2010 to request an independent review. If the review finds errors in how your foreclosure was handled, you may be eligible to receive compensation. You have until September 30, 2012, to submit your request. State Updates Massachusetts Legislature Approves FY2013 Budget, Increases Funding for Several Housing Programs On June 28, 2012 the Massachusetts Legislature finalized its FY’13 budget.  Governor Patrick now has 10 days, excluding Sundays and holidays, to sign the budget and issue vetoes or amendments for budget items he does not approve.

Public Housing and the Patrick-Murray Administration’s Vision Since taking office in 2008, the Patrick-Murray Administration has taken bold and decisive action to protect and strengthen the safety net that state-aided public housing’s 45,600 units provides for our state’s most vulnerable families, seniors and persons with disabilities. The significant gains this Administration has made through substantial funding increases and program innovation laid the foundation for the work of the Commission for Public Housing Sustainability and Reform (“The Commission”).
