Senate Ways and Means Releases FY2019 State Budget Proposal

On May 10, the Massachusetts Senate Committee on Ways and Means (SWM) released its FY2019 state budget proposal. The $41.2 billion budget includes many increased investments for affordable housing, homelessness prevention, and community development programs. Amendments to the SWM budget have been filed. Click here to see CHAPA's list of amendments to the SWM budget for FY19 to support and further strengthen our affordable housing, homelessness prevention, and community development priorities. The Senate will debate and vote on its budget the week of May 23.
