CTI offers a CHAPA approved first time home buyer course consisting of 2 Saturday classes. course material covers the entire home buying process including budgeting, mortgages, down payment assistance, working with a realtor and lawyer, and the home inspection. Instructors typically include a budgeting/credit professional, mortgage lender, lawyer, realtor and home inspector.
The 2 year certificate is issued at the conclusion of the seminar and makes prospective home buyers eligible to apply for the MHP One and Mass Housing mortgage programs.
