CTI offers a CHAPA approved first time home buyer course consisting of 2 Saturday classes. Course material covers the entire home buying process including budgeting, mortgages, down payment assistance programs, working with a realtor and lawyer and the home inspection process. Instructors typically include a budgeting/credit professional, mortgage lender, lawyer, realtor and home inspector.
The 2 year certificate is issued at the conclusion of the seminar and makes the prospective home buyer eligible to apply for the MHP One and Mass Housing mortgage.
