The fee for this course is $50 per household. The fee must be paid at the time of registration to reserve your household's place.
These sessions will meet a various locations in Berkshire County - location will be determined closer to class date.
One household is one person buying alone or one or more persons buying together. Each household receives one copy of the workshop materials and a certificate of completion.
After completing both sessions, you will receive the Massachusetts Homebuyer Education Certificate required for Mass Housing and MHP (One Mortgage). Income eligible borrowers will also be able to use their Certificate of Achievement to apply for special first time homebuyer loans. You must attend both sessions in order to receive the certificate, but if you miss a session, you can make it up in a later workshop. You will receive the certificate at the final session.
Planned guest speakers include a loan officer, a realtor©, a home inspector, and an attorney.
