Event Description

The CHAPA Young Professionals Group is launching the Dialogue Series: an opportunity for young professionals to meet, connect, network, and share ideas. We envision this new change in our programming as a better way to engage our attendees and find ways to work together to support affordable housing and community development efforts.

To kick off this series, we have invited Jessicah Pierre from the Institute for Policy Studies. A new report, “Towering Excess,” published by the Institute for Policy Studies, identifies the perils of Boston’s luxury housing market while identifying how the city could better protect the public interest and, in the process, capture some of the current luxury real estate wealth flow to support affordable housing for Boston residents. The report examines 12 of Boston’s latest highest-priced luxury housing developments

We invite you to join us for a dialogue to explore the pros- and cons- of Boston's building boom and how we as policy professionals can help direct the conversation.
