Please join us for the next meeting of our Public Housing & Rental Assistance Committee!

The meeting will focus on a discussion of MRVP and Section 8 rental assistance programs. One of CHAPA's legislative priorities includes legislation to codify and improve MRVP and, where it's beneficial, align our state rental assistance program with the federal Section 8 program. We will host Susan Nohl, Deputy Director of Metro Housing|Boston who will present on differences between MRVP and Section 8, including how the value of vouchers are calculated, tenant payment amounts, utility allowances, and other differences in the administration of the vouchers. 

We will also provide updates on items discussed at our previous meeting in September.
