Referred to the Joint Committee on Revenue. Hearing held March 5th.  Action unlikely this session because the provisions of the bill were included in the House Housing bond bill and previous Committee drafts of the bond bill.

Summary

This bill recognizes the success of the state low income housing tax credit, which has helped to create more than 2,900 homes (2,000 affordable). It would increase the amount of the credit to $10 million annually (currently it is $4 million) and extend the program by eliminating the sunset clause. The text of this bill is also included in the housing bond bill.
