Summary
Employers in Massachusetts have difficulty recruiting and retaining employees because of the high cost of housing. Under this act, employers that create a program to help their employees purchase and rent housing in Massachusetts, would be able to receive matching funds of $1 from the Commonwealth for every $2 the employer contributes. The Commonwealth's investment would leverage $10 million in employer assistance.
