In response to the growing housing crisis, the nonprofit organization Citizens’ Housing and Planning Association (CHAPA) has joined forces with prominent leaders from the Essex County housing, business and academic communities in a new affordable housing public awareness campaign called home@last. home@last is an initiative to support the creation of more housing choices in Essex County and to help the residents of these communities better understand the benefits that affordable housing brings to their towns and the region as a whole.
