As housing costs rise, people who grew up on Cape Cod and the workers who contribute to the local economy can no longer afford to live here. In fact, everyday, at every business you visit and every municipal service you use, you meet people who need housing that is affordable.
In response to the growing crisis, the nonprofit organizations Housing Assistance Corporation (HAC) and Citizens' Housing and Planning Association (CHAPA) are collaborating with state and county government, local employers, and civic groups to implement home@last, a community action campaign designed to create a community where everyone has a safe, stable, and decent place to live.
