Robert A. DeSimone & Associates assists private and public sector clients in addressing issues including organizational development, planning, facility development, property management, and creation of service programs relating to housing and education. Recent clients include: Supportive Living, Riverside Community Care and Life Experience School, Inc. These organizations are involved in creating assisted housing for persons with disabilities, who require supportive services in their quest to live more independent lives. We have assisted each organization in one or more of the following ways: qualifying as a non-profit 501(c)3 non-profit organization, arranging for supportive services, pursuing legislation affecting consumers, strategic planning, preparing multi-source financing packages for the development of housing for persons with disabiliites. Funding sources have included: HUD Section 811, State HIF, FCF, AHT and FHLBank of Boston. In addition, we have provided business planning assistance to Dante University of America Foundation in its efforts to create an on-line university.

Dietz & Company Architects specializes in providing architectural consulting services to non-profit development corporations, tenant groups, housing authorities and other housing groups. Our services include preliminary feasibility studies, physical needs assessments, advocacy to funding agencies, zoning assistance, conventional architectural services from schematic design through construction, construction arbitration. Housing types we have designed include special needs housing (mentally and physically handicapped), battered women's shelters, single room occupancies, housing for the elderly, housing for families and mixed use developments. We have also been involved in master planning for urban neighborhoods, including preparing an application for a HOPE IV grant, which was awarded and is in the process of being implemented.
